Unfortunately, Notion AI does not seem capable of accessing PDF content at this point - either embedded in the Notion page or linked via an external source. While this is a better outcome, getting a summary of just the abstract is possibly less helpful than you might be expecting. Uploading the same paper to Notion via Zotero resulted in a table similar to OP's, but all of the information was taken from the abstract, which was extracted by Zotero and saved as text to the Notion database. When providing the PDF directly and asking for a similar summary / table, Notion AI hallucinates a completely unrelated answer (the paper was on techniques for finding vulnerabilities in software, where Notion AI guessed it was about COVID-19 - see attached screenshot). I tried both uploading a PDF of a paper directly into a Notion document and linking Notion with Zotero via Notero as the OP did. This is a really cool idea, so I tried to reproduce it. To summarize, the OP of that post used Notion AI to create a table of salient information on a research paper uploaded to a Notion database via Zotero (through the Notero integration).
